KATCH KARP PVA PRODUDUCTS ??

 Weve been selling bags for coming up for a year, well thats not strickly true. I have been carp fishing since about 1959 /1960 I have in that time caught a few fish,. never very big by todays standards, but the important thing is enjoy!! Being fairly successfull in my own modest way people tended to want me to make bait for them etc. So over the years I have dabbled with various things just to help finance my own fishing. 

Then about 10 years ago I bought meself a machine and found some pva and started making my own, problem was it took  LONG TIME  to make em. ten years on and I am now selling on mass. Katch Karp is a family run business where we all chip in, quite literally. My daughter may shortly be leaving us for the americas but I shall definately be sending her on her way with some free samples to show the local tackle shops there.   

I have been a carp fisher for a long time now too long I think. I started carp fishing in 1960. Back in those days it was a whole different ball game. They were indeed halcyon days, that I fear will never be repeated. A thirty pound carp was a true monster. Some years later I remember meeting a young lad talking about 20lb fish as though they were small!!! unbelievable. Even now I consider a 30lb fish to be a monster, but in reality it is just another big fish. I,m glad in a way that I am part of an age where I have learnt to appreciate true values. I met a young lad fishing longfield lake, he had fished it for 18 months without a fish!? After a long chat the day before about fishing etc. That night he hooked and landed the lady at 34lb. It was of coarse a new pb. I asked what his old one was and he answered 9lb 8onz ???? He,d just wasted 18 mths of his life waiting for one fish. He hardly had any expierience of actually catching fish at all, and now his personal best was 34lb !!?? I havnt had many 30+ fish I,m afraid but I have certainly had a lot of fun getting there.

After several years of experimenting with pva in its various forms we have now settled with our winning products. We started out just supplying coasre /carp bags, but as usually happens with life you tend to branch out here and there a bit. Well I had a lad ask about cat bags and from there one thing led to another, and here we are.
